Moest je bij de eerste versie van de HB C12 nog van alles veranderen om hem goed competatief te krijgen, nu hoeft het kennelijk niet meer want er is een nieuwe versie uit van de C12... De C12X...
Zo te zien met aardig wat opties die al verkrijgbaar waren voor de C12 als de titanium nitride kingpins en hingepins zitten nu op de auto... Ook zitten er nieuwe draagarmen (onder) op en zijn de stuurblokken en voorassen (die voorheen als lucifers knapten) vernieuwd en zo te zien verbeterd. Uiteindelijk ook de aluminium achteras heeft plaats gemaakt voor een koolstof versie die wél te verstellen is in breedtte... Ziet er erg goed uit al zeg ik het zelf...
Hot Bodies have released details about the new Cyclone 12X, which will make its debut at next weeks World Championships in Thailand. This latest version of the European Championship winning car features a number of changes which make for a more aggressive handling chassis. First change is the inclusion of new rear axle bearing mounts that come in 0.25mm differences so that you can fine tune the responsiveness of the rear of the car more. Also at the rear there is a new wheel mounting hub, aluminum spacers for quick track width adjustment as well as a lightweight carbon rear axle, in place of aluminium. The front has also received some attention with new lower front wishbones, steering blocks, lighter wheel axles, new stiffening bar and finally an updated T-bar front mount.
