1.04 Update
The 1.04 update is undergoing final in-house testing, and will hopefully be ready for download as an open public beta at the end of this month.
The final feature list is as follows:
New Features
-fully destructible aircraft:
wings, control surfaces, landing gear and rotor-blades can break off with realistic sound-effects. Breakages are fully physically modelled and effect flight characteristics.
-Failures panel:
___-setup preset or random failures of engine(s) and control surfaces.
-all-new window system:
___-resize simulator window with your mouse to any size
___-set a fullscreen mode and swap between windowed and fullscreen
___-minimised/maximised/normal modes all saved and independant
___-select different refresh rates in fullscreen
-copy and paste support between Phoenix and Microsoft Windows
-new semi-automatic CCPM demixing system
-add models to your favourite aircraft list for quick swapping
-control profile system expanded to allow different controls for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
-improved phoenixUpdate system makes updating easier and faster.
-wind-sock with realistic flag effect
-software idle-up, gyro-gain and model-reset
-HDR lighting effects for extra realism
-competitions and training-modes in online multiplayer
-ability to edit aircraft online

We also have many new models ready for release which take full advantage of the 1.04 physics changes, and these will be released shortly after the update itself. Some of the models include:
- P51 Mustang (scale IC airplane)
- Katana Mini (electric 3D/aerobatic airplane)
- Acromaster (eletric 3D park-flyer)
- Yak 55 (hand-launched shockfly)
- Alliance (F3A pattern airplane)
- Sukhoi 26 MX (sport/aerobatic airplane)
- Ultimate Biplane (sport/aerobatic biplane)
- Tutor 40 (IC high-wing trainer airplane)
- T-Rex 600 Nitro (3D/aerobatic IC helicopter)
- Raptor Mini Titan (3D/aerobatic electric helicopter)
- Avant Aurora (3D/aerobatic IC helicopter)
Plus many more exciting aircraft planned for release over the coming months.
