New User from Germany, Some questions

Hi from Germany,

my name is Michael and I'm living in Wuppertal near Germany.
As my duch is not so good I've some questions.

Do you have a map with the locations of all users or airfields?
Sometimes I'm in the NL and don not know where to fly.

In the summer we go usually 3 weeks to De Banjaard near Veere.
I just found a airfield in Vlissingen. Is there anything near?

UH (cheap source for Zippy LiPo) do not longer ship to Germany because of problems with the customs.

Have someone of you ordered at UH during the last 2 month?
Have you payed BTW or was the shiping going through without tax?


I've tryed to set up a "handtekening" and pressed "handtekening opslan" but it is not shown in the post. Why?
I've now copy the "handtekening" manually into the post

I ordered little packets at Hobbycity the last 2 months, no problems at all.

In regards to your other question, there's a dutch topic about ordering at Hobbycity. It appears the german customs department have a special interrest in UH packages, since UH didn't supply the correct paperwork.

Here in the Netherlands it's more moderate, offcourse there's always a chance that your package would get intercepted an you have to pay taxes, but it's like a 1:10 chance.

About your 'handtekening' there's 2 things you need to do, first you need to enter it, which you already did, but secondly you have to enable it. If you go into the 'Opties' screen, at the bottom there are three choices called 'Zichtbare berichtelementen'. You need to enable 'Toon handtekeningen'.

Maybe someone is living close to the border (Arnheim, Roermont or so).
In that case it would be possible to order for me (I'll transfer the money before) and I'm going to pick up the Lipo after arrival.

Do you know some users living close, that I can contact?
