Maximum Traction

Superior Efficiency, Integrated Design

Slash 4X4 uses just three gear meshes to drive all four wheels, eliminating the need for a multi-gear transmission. The highly efficient drivetrains pins effortlessly on rubber-sealed ball bearings, and is integrated seamlessly into Slash 4X4's unique chassis for optimum performance and easy maintenance. Extruded Aluminum Driveshaft

Slash 4X4's center driveshaft is formed from extruded aluminum. There are no dogbones to wear, no drive cups to obble. The extrusion process allows the shaft to be hollow and lightweight with internal splines that fit directly and securely onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies. The shaft runs perfectly straight and true and offers superior durability. Traxxas engineers highlighted this important innovation with vivid blue anodizing and a laser-etched Traxxas logo

Single-screw motor access

Inspired by the innovative E-Revo, Slash 4X4 features a unique motor mount that holds the Velineon 3500 motor securely yet releases instantly with just one screw. Gear-mesh adjustments are fast and easy and the motor can be removed in just seconds.

Revo-spec Differentials

Race-proven in the 7-time National Champion Revo, Slash 4X4's differentials represent the state of the art in power handling and efficiency. Precision silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the diffs to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside them.

Easy Access

Diff access for tuning is quick & easy. Just remove the front or rear cover and the entire diff slides right out. The Slash 4x4 lets you focus on having fun at the track instead of being chained to the workbench scrambling through complex assemblies.

New heavy-duty driveshafts

Slash 4x4's telescoping, u-joint driveshafts may look familiar but they have evolved for increased strength & articulation. Torque-Control (TM) Slipper Clutch

How tough is it?

Slash 4X4's chassis is designed to allow the massive Mamba Monster power system -- which normally motivates trucks twice the weight of the Slash 4X4 -- to simply drop right in with virtually no modification. Overkill? Perhaps, but we couldn't resist going 80+ mph. We don't think yuo will resist either, so the drivetrain is built to handle the horsepower and speed.

Tuning Precision

Advanced CAD allowed engineers to precisely pinpoint a range of suspension tuning adjustments to tune the performance for different track conditions. Caster, camber, toe, and roll center are all easily adjustable.

All-New C-Hub Design

Het lijkt me dat deze kwetsbaarder is dan de ouwe slash,vanwege de ophanging aan de voor en achterkant. De verbinding van de bodemplaat naar de aandrijving zeg maar...

Maar goed als je hem enkel gebruikt waarvoor hij bedoelt is, zal het meevallen...
Je moet ook niet de halfpipe jumps maken met een slash...

Ben echt benieuwd naar mods van deze wagen. Met wat bredere armen en driveshafts, kleinere bumpers en andere body en eventueel nog offset wielen voor extra breedte kan dit een leuke 4WD Rustler worden, lol.

er zijn dus 4 schroeven voor en 4 schroeven achter he voor alle duidelijkheid, 8 in totaal he

(die de voor en achter ophanging aan het chassis vastmaken)

De bevestiging zit wel goed denk ik, door de skid plates worden er voor en achter driehoeken gevormd welke ontzettend stijf zijn. Haal de skid plates maar eens van de 2WD slash en het is slappe was, me de skid plates erop is het gewoon stijf.

Je moet ook niet zonder de skid plates rijden, die dingen hebben meer functies dan alleen maar glijden.

Haha geweldig, hij is nog niet leverbaar maar we zijn al aan het upgraden

Ik had gisteren ook het idee om een topic te openen, maar niet zo mooi als "diver" gedaan heeft, complimenten.
Ben zeer benieuwd wanneer er geleverd kan gaan worden, hopelijk niet zoals bij de 1/16......iedere keer een maandje later...
En dan nog wachten dat ie eindelijk ook in europa / nederland geleverd wordt.
Bijna had ik een 2WD slash erbij gekocht, nu wacht ik toch nog maar heel eventjes..........

Onder 400 dollar. Hij staat op 1 amerikaanse website genoemd voor 399.99 dollar. Anderen zullen er nog wel iets onder gaan.

Wel jammer dat het inclusief lader en een 8,4 volt 3000mAh accu is. Straks doen ze er ook nog 8 alkaline penlites bij voor de zender :-S

400 dollar voor de VXL ?
Met accu en lader. Dat is niet duur.
280 euro ongeveer, dat betaal je voor een 2 wd slash zonder brushless met lader enz.

Ik vind de 4wd slash opzich wel een gaaf concept, maar ik blijf toch bij mijn vertrouwde 2wd.
