That is the downside of free software. It might be possible in Fusion, however it could be a feature you have to pay for
I know it can be done in Inventor, solid edge and SolidWorks (not the basic versions)
A work around can be making use of the sheet metal functionality. However you are then limited to single direction curved surfaces.

Having the ribs printed 1:1 is already a huge plus.
Flatten the surfaces for making the plating contours is in my opinion not a huge added benefit. I never used it, although I know the feature. By hand building, you will always find some imperfections. Using paper and cardboard for making templates of the plating works maybe even better in that case.

This is very Interesting Jan. I thought that having the flattened surfaces would be a huge benefit to speed up the process and improve accuracy but I was wrong. Good to know, thank you.

Construction of the building board.
Step 1: Printing the top view in multiple A4 papers using Fusion 360 (for those interested in how I print my plans in A4 printers, see also a useful video:
).
a) Make a sketch with the required number of rectangles to cover the full top view of the hull using the dimensions of an A4 paper (210 mm X 297 mm). Be sure that the rectangles overlap each other, e.g. :
b) Then File -> New drawing -> From Design then on the new tab, Create Drawing, select Sheet size: A4
c) Adjust the plan so as the rectangle coincides with the A4 paper, e.g.:
d) Then File -> Print and you can either print as pdf and save it or send it to the printer. Here the first piece of the drawing on pdf:

Step 2: assemble carefully the A4 papers on a piece of plywood securing with tape and checking the length.
Step 3: cut pieces of plywood and screw on the board exactly where the ribs should be according to the plan.
Step 4: cut another slice of plywood to secure the ribs.
Step 5: do that for another x times where x is the # of ribs...
(a for loop

Nice work Dim. It seems you did not draw the stringers (wooden reinforcement lath) in the ribs. Wil you add them later on?
Also, I think it wil be a challenge to make a tapered tube with the shape already in the wooden ribs. How will you make them? Skin between the ribs with wooden strips, or hard foam?

You add a lot of nice activity / projects in this forum!You are right Jan. I didn t manage to draw them even if I wanted to. For some reason the sweep did not work properly in Fusion.... You know I am still a beginner...and some things I try they just don t work
. I don't know if I add them later.
Regarding the tubes I am planning to add hard foam between the ribs and sand them down carefully to the wooden part just like cosy. I have done something similar at the beginning of the project with balsa and seemed to work nicely (see my first photos)
I think that the hard foam will strengthen the hull and maybe the stringers are not necessary. Moreover, I am planning to apply fiber and epoxy on both sides of the hull plus the ribs are quite dense. I also plan to fill with polyurethane foam at the bow. All the above-mentioned I think that will strengthen the hull.

I cut a number of 4x3 stringers with my mini table saw to enhance the hull as discussed with Jan and I also cut some more ribs. The plans changed slightly to account for the stringer cuts to the ribs.
I left the center stringer into the water overnight to be able to bend it smoothly.
