New (and happy) owner here :)
I recently bought this vessel, but not directly from topic starter, it had 2 different owners in between.
    (I contacted TS prior buying)

The boat was sold by TS without engine, the next owner put a K&B 7.5 on it, the owner after never sailed the boat, he was just a big fan of Renato Molinari (the pilot of the 1:1 of this livery boat).

My intention is to occasionally run the boat but I'd love to do it with the K&B 7.5, not with an e-motor.
But all RC work needs to be re-done, and the K&B needs to be checked.
I'll take my time for it, so don't expect to have it in the water soon.

I don't thrust the outboard yet, I think I'll take it apart.
The engine part won't be a big issue, however fuel is still a question mark for me.
The original US manual states 30% to up-to 50% nitro should (can) be used, but I'd like to run less, not sure it will be happy running lower, also oil is TBD, Castor is the "old" recommendation, but I expect synthetic to be better.
Also I have some fear of the drive bit.
Parts sourcing seems to be difficult, and maintenance is not clear to me (how to lube the flex), so we'll see.

If there are any good tips on drive maintenance, fuel and oil (from experience)..... I'd be happy to learn.
