2s Lipo vs Servo&2.4ontvanger

Hi
On this model I'm using 2 D47 and 2 D60 with the battery (rhino 2s360) directly connected to the MPX 5ch receiver without any regulator.
I heard somebody use also hyperion 7.5g servos without regulator, just reducing the speed to 60% with emeter2.
