I was not aware that there was an apparently awesome RC car that runs on fuel cells, and I further was not aware that is is the best selling fuel cell product in the world right now. The H-Racer from Horizon Fuel Cells is science fiction come alive- it almost seems like a joke product, that’s how cool it is. The car comes with a separate solar cell powered hydrogen production tank that takes water and sunlight and fills the car’s tanks with pure hydrogen gas. The fuel cell on board the car converts hydrogen with oxygen from the air into 30A of continuous power, 40A at peak output. There is so much interest in the car that there is a long waiting list, but that is not a surprise. This little car is acting as a testbed for the viability of hydrogen powering cars, albeit a 1/10th scale testbed. I pray that this can be properly scaled up so that we can all make our own gas and drive truly environmentally sound cars (the only thing coming out of the exhaust pipe is water vapor). Via Gizmag.
Ik had zoiets nog niet eerder gezien.
Tenminste niet op het forum.
