Skyfox mechanic electric conversion following Powerotor advices.
Old fuselage from Graupner Star ranger
Flybarless head, a mix between Hirobo and Vario head, mini vbar.

Nice one.
What size is the heli?
The main blades seem to come pretty close to the tail blades! Is there no risk for a blade strike into the tail.

the Heli is a class 700, blades are 690 mm, it use a Skyfox Mechanic into an old GRP Graupner Star ranger fuse from the 90 heavily modified.
I think the picture false the perspective, there still a lot of room between main blade and rotor blades.

Sunday I flew the machine on a scale model event, everything was fine !!
The machine can fly 8 minutes and the ESC is just warm at the end of th flight, so a good result. Here I use 2x6s 4500 in parallel, motor is Align 870kv, ESC is castle 120 HV, more than enough.
