hahaha die peter bang voor een beetje werk en trouwens die kist had allang klaar kunnen zijn moet je maar niet steeds op de bank liggen .MET JE TENEN TEGEN HET PLAVOND

Enne Martin kan weer een primeur op z'n conto bijschrijven, ook de Ut160er, die volgens tekening nooit goed of uberhaubt zal draaien, heeft hij super lopend gekregen.

Christian from Italy can go further with his UT (or partly Martin) project, and now with much more confidence now that the engine is running well.

And Christian, with the advise from Martin about the diff the engine will go like a bat out off hell :mrgreen: and maybe more than 16 kilograms of trust.

i changed some things in diffusor (thanks Martin) and i do the modify in all diffusors made..

soon i will post the test, before with original UT160 CC and later with other CCdesign

i'm building some CC like P160SE (last design with much holes)
 
NEWS about ut-160 problem story

Today tested my engine with modify in diffusor, and position compressor
original CC design

HOT SPOT , flame and farting sound missed!!!!

then this is good start point..
next test with new CC drawing..

soon video about test..!
 
last test with all new design CC and modified diffusor

hot spot removed ... low egt temperature
trust at 35.000 1kg
0,8 -1 kg over than UT160 charts

Hi Christian.

Very nice work what you did with the modified UT.

How fast you have put the acc time in the projet ecu, I always have the acc at the fastest time setting, when the engine is perfectly in order thats no problem at all.

Hou do you solved you lubrication? with only a pipe to the front bearing or splitted in two pipes to the both bearings?
I always use the splitted way, between 60/70 % lubrication runs trough te front and 40/30 % directly to the back bearing.

So you can put the idle rpm at 32K.
I am more curius about the trust at 120K or more, maybe at 123K and what te egt temperatures are at the max rpm, also the outside temperature at testing.

one engine have 1 tube for lubrication in front
other engine 1 tube for front bearing and 1 for rear but no problem in both engine

i test today not full rpm because i have not balanced the engine when i must to
made some test and modify.. the acceleration time was 1,2 1 1 no problem
the new CC and new diffusor drawing (martin) put the engine to run very good

35k = 1kg
60k = 3,7kg
80k = 6.4kg
90k = 7.8kg

now i will do the kerostart plug and i will balance the engine

Greetings Ger. (must find time to rebuild mij old RT to fit the Garrett 0024 with Martin dysign diff and his cobustion chamber layout, to get aprox 16kg out of it in stead of 14)

Phoeeee. :wink: stiil building on mij 1/4 FW 190 with the BB radial. maybe the old RT engine becomes after the FW project.
