20-21-22 februari zijn de Corally thunderdays bij Megadrom in Geilenkirchen.

Wie gaat daar naartoe ? Tot nu toe is de deelnemers lijst nog erg kort.

Misschien een stomme vraag, maar ik vroeg me dus laatst af of je daar, net zoals in de trent van de Tamiya Cup, alleen met Corally's mag rijden? Er staat niets over in het reglement.

Ik heb er namelijk wel over zitten denken om er naar toe te gaan, ik rij alleen geen corally :P

Toevallig heb ik een Phi, maar je mag er met alles rijden.

Vorig jaar heeft een Serpent S400 gewonnen dacht ik.

INTRO: Team Corally and Megadrom would like to invite you to the 21th annual CORALLY DAYS INTERNATIONAL, which will be held from February 20th to 22th 2009 in Megadrom-Geilenkirchen in Germany.
Since the founding of the company, Team Corally have been organizing an annual Open race meeting especially to conjure a good occasion for all Team Corally drivers to get together and exchange setup information. On Saturday evening, there will be a fantastic dinner banquet sponsored by Team Corally – don’t miss it! Please fill in the entry form enclosed with entry-fee and send it to Megadrom-Geilenkirchen to enter. The number of entries is limited to 120. First come, first serve. All RC-drivers are welcome, no national or international license needed.
The very famous buffet at Saturday Night is included in the entry fee (excl. drinks).

ENTRY-FEE: 1) Touring Car class: €45 – including one set of CS27JB (pre glued CS27 with JB Foam blue on Corally Factory Dish
Wheels) and Corally buffet
€40 for junior drivers (age below 18) – including one set CS27 tires and Dish Wheels.
2) 1/12th class: €20 - including Corally buffet
€15 for junior drivers (age below 18) - including Corally buffet
TIRES & ADDITIVE: - Only two sets of tires (= 8 tires) per driver are allowed. One extra set of CS27 JB can be bought trackside; €25 for 4
tires and 4 wheels. A-finalists are allowed to buy a third set of CS27 JB tires.
- Only non smelling tire additives are allowed.
MEETING FORMAT: Friday the 20th : Registration, 4 rounds of Controlled Practice
Saturday the 21th: 2 rounds of Controlled Practice, 4 Qualifying heats
Sunday the 22th: 1 Qualifying heat, 3 Finals
TIMETABLE: The following timetable is provided to help you plan your weekend at the CORALLY INTERNATIONAL 2009. The final timetable will be posted at the race. Please be alert for possible changes.
- There is a total of 6 rounds of controlled practice in heat format on Friday and Saturday morning.
- Each final will be run three times, so all drivers will have maximum track time!

PIT AREA: Tables, chairs and mains electric power will be available to all participants. Please bring your own connectors, power cables and transformers if necessary (220V supply with Euro connector). There is half a table per driver, ask the organizers if you require an additional space for mechanics if you have difficulties in getting it.
The whole pit- and tech-area is a legitimate smoking area – the whole facility is well ventilated. Of course no smoking on the rostrum allowed! Please accept the above in order to make the CORALLY INTERNATIONAL 2009 a pleasant event for all participants.
HOW TO FIND THE TRACK?
Geilenkirchen is located right at the border between Germany and the Netherlands. If you come from the Netherlands, go to Maastricht, (A2/E25) Sittard, Gangelt and Geilenkirchen. Approximately 500m before you enter city, turn left to Industrial area ‘Kaserne’, drive until you see a train bridge. There you have to turn right in front of the bridge, follow the road until it can only go right or left, then turn left, follow the street until you find Megadrom on the left side.
If you come from anywhere else, just head towards Aachen (A4/E314), then to Alsdorf, Geilenkirchen. Right before you enter city, turn left to Industrial area, drive until you see a train bridge. There you have to turn right in front of the bridge, follow the road until it can only go right or left, then turn left, follow the street until you find Megadrom on the left side.
LEGAL FREQUENCIES: The following list of crystals contains the legal frequencies for the CORALLY INTERNATIONAL. Entries with less then 3 legal frequencies will not be accepted and returned.

TRANSPONDERS: Even though AMB rc personal transponders are very welcome since they make the running of an event much more convenient, but we will also provide regular handout transponders to drivers not using personal transponders.
Drivers using handout transponders are fully liable for damage or loss of the handout transponder provided by the organizer.
CATERING / FOOD: The famous kitchen-crew from the Megadrom-Geilenkirchen will be available during all three days of the event. There will be a large variation of drinks, snacks and meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner available at reasonable price in the cafeteria section.

BATTERIES: Maximum of 5 cells in Sub-C size and only NiMH-technology may be used. Cells have to be in the manufacturer’s original heat shrink and be commercially available in the spirit of the sport, any kind of prototype or pre-production cells are illegal. OTHER TECHNICHAL SPECIFICATION:
All cars must have independent suspension operating on all four wheels. No automatic steering or power/traction control is allowed; the function of steering and throttle may only be influenced by the transmitter. In no way may they be influenced by the movement or acceleration of the car. Any sensor or device that measures any movements of the car is not allowed. The only legal driver aid is the use of a current-limiter in the speed-control. The use of multiple-speed transmissions and slipper clutches is not allowed.
WARNING: If anyone gets caught breaking the rules regarding tires, additive, motors or batteries; - it may result in disqualification from the entire event!

Qualification for finals will be based upon each driver’s best single score achieved during the qualifying heats
