Eindhoven: Depron & vliegen locaties

First of all, I'm sorry but I don't speak much Dutch (yet), so english :(

So, as the title suggests, I'm looking for a Depron supplier around Eindhoven. I want a local one, not remote/online, as shipping is high and I only want a few sheets, and I'm a student :D.
It doesn't have to be Depron, any (cheaper?) foamboard will do.

If anyone knows of a shop, please let me know. The one at Witte Dame has thick foam and balsa, but no 6mm foam.

Secondary matter: Also looking for a good open space near Eindhoven. I know a location at Meerhoven which other RC people use, but it's a bit crowded + no parking + lots of water around... Looking for a field next to a non-busy road ideally :P

Any ideas welcome!

Thanks a lot for your time,
Chris

A mere few hundred meters from Eindhoven airport runway????

Hi Chris, welcome to the Netherlands and to this forum

Regarding Depron, here are a few webshops:

www.rc-flyfun.nl (near Arnhem)
www.rc-addict.nl (but their website indicates stock =0)
www.hobbyinn.nl (near Tilburg - give 'm a call, their webshop does not cover all they can/do provide)

There's also a threat in this forum regarding Depron:
vermeld-hier-je-depron-leverancier-34

Regarding flying in the Eindhoven area: Eindhoven has a commercial/military airport and hence there are severe restrictions to flying a model aircraft in that area. The model aircraft section of the KNVvL provides more details on the Dutch rules.
(Regeling Modelvliegen).

And as you probably noticed from some reactions: learning Dutch will be very helpfull, both for your professional, social as well for your model aircraft ambitions.

Good luck

This thread translated, lots of languages to choose from/to
translate.google.nl...www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/verlijming-constructie/201623-eindhoven-depron-vliegen-locaties.html

People are not allowed to fly there, it's tower controlled aerospace (8km? radius). It boggles the mind that those people have/want to fly there, of all places. Don't fly there, even though they do.

... There is a Vliegclubs menu but there is no club in my area
What means of transportation do you have (access to)?

@Chris, welcome to this great forum, enjoy your stay.

Wow what a discussion!
From what I understand it's a bit heated :)
Thank you all for your links and comments.
I'll look into all the shops you suggested, and look for law and regulations.

I plan to stay so I'll learn the language. For the moment google translate kind of works.

The people flying at the place near the airport look very careful and some pretty organized and aware of the situation. I don't want to defend for them, just curious. They're all locals btw. Anyway, I only flew/fly under 30 meters so I guess it's not a problem yet. But I look into flying my bixler UAV/FPV so I'll be sure to be safe/legal.

So, thanks a lot for the info! Extra thanks Alpha21 :)

Peace

Hi, thanks for the links. Do you have any idea how much shipping of one sheet usually costs? I mean, is it like 6.45 or like 15 eur? - EDIT: Sorry to bother you, I'll just look at the thread.

rcflyfun estimates 7.95 eur, hobbyinn.nl is completely offline, and rcaddict is out of stock as you suggested.
