Another wet and humid competition in this season.

Very gentle handling was required in the air to ride the rare and weak thermal bubbles.

Second weekend in August found us at southern part of Czech republic.

This year temperatures were manageable and weather was just right for some light slope and strong thermal soaring.

Apricot trees again took their toll on the models.

Sorry for the mumbling, will try to improve next time.

-My first international competition in 2014. Perfect weather on Saturday but some low clouds on Sunday.

-One Maxa was sacrificed to the clouds ...

-Juun Albers (onze Internationaal F5J Vliegende Hollander) heeft hier ook weer aan deelgenomen.

I finally found some time to publish my view of flyoffs in Holič. Saturday we had almost no wind, while Sunday was properly windy as you can hear (I'll try to do something about the wind noise for the next season). Since this was just two weeks before the conclusion of Contest Eurotour in Germany, people were fighting for results. Primož didn't managed to make a proper landing in the third round because one of his flap servos died and that cost him the victory.

I didn't attend the competitions in Austria and Germany because I was busy at work. I plan to attend another event in Hungary and a new place in Croatia, but the season is mostly over. Looking back, it was a good season with some good results for me, despite my lack of training
