F5K Kestrel design contest

Het bouwseizoen is aangebroken en iedereen is hopelijk bezig met het maken van nieuwe plannen voor komend seizoen. Graag maak ik jullie attent op onderstaande Black Friday design contest. Wie wil er nu niet graag een gave nieuwe F5K kist met eigen design erop winnen? Het team OA Composites heeft in het verleden ook de NRJ F3K ontwikkeld. Een zeer succesvol en goed vliegend model. Ik wens iedereen veel succes toe bij het ontwerpen van het design:

Dear F5K friends,

It's still Black Friday week and I'm very happy to announce a great deal. Team OA Composites has developed the new Kestrel. It will certainly be a great plane to fly as it was designed by Christophe Bourdon and produced by Anton Ovcharenko.
The team provides 3 planes for a design competition. They invite you to create your best design for the Kestrel. It is possible to send multiple designs and colors. You can use the attached PDF template for creation.

Keep the following design rules into account:
- modern style design,
- highly visible design
- not too small parts in the design
- recognize “Kestrel” in your design
- design both top, and bottom and tail
- make different color options in your design (minimum 3 different color designs)

Send your design to info@thermal-soaring.com before December 10th. and include your name and country.
We will also publish all designs on Facebook (F5K Thermal Soaring) and on rcgroups.

There will be a public poll to decide which designs wins. The second and third place are decided by Christophe and Anton.

Dear F5K pilots,

The Kestrel design competition has ended and the winners can be announced. There are 20 fantastic designs provided by 6 top designers. From Argentina, Taiwan, Greece, Austria to North Macedonia. Great to see that F5K has started to grow worldwide.

Several countries have already organized F5K competitions or will start doing so next year. Let's hope we meet on a field to fly an F5K event together.
There has been a lot of voting within the F5K Thermal Soaring Facebook community over the past week. Anton and Christophe are very grateful to everyone for thinking along and participating. The original contest post got 239 likes. A wonderful result.

Anton and Christophe have identified their favorite design. With that, the first 2 winners are known:

Design 7 - Taiwan, created by Don ZD Lin

Design 12 - Argentina, created by Gonzalo Rodriquez

The F5K community has voted as winner:

Design 20 - Austria, made by Klaus Lindinger

All winning designers have therefore won a free Kestrel with their own design!! Congratulations everyone.

All design files are needed for production. I would therefore like to ask the winners to coordinate the details with Anton by e-mail. His email address is duragon456@gmail.com

Finally, Anton and Christophe would like to thank everyone for voting. Good to know that all published or new own designs can be ordered from Anton.
