Flying Fields in Amsterdam?

Hello!

I am considering getting a 500 sized heli (after having had some experience with mini FP and CP helis), and I am wondering if there are any good fling fields that are easily reached in Amsterdam.

I'm not familiar with the laws surrounding RC in The Netherlands, so I am wondering if you need to operate only at a club field, or can you fly in areas such as football pitches, etc.?

The rules in holland are pretty easy for a rc flyer. if youre flying for the hobby that is.. when you are making money with it, the rules are very tight.

The principle is, that you can fly where you like.
Except when there are local autority's, or an airport in the area.
And it must be safe for other people, and yourself.

Since Schiphol is located in Amsterdam, you can't do much there with flying rc stuff.
legally, that is..
Clubs usually have some agreements with the airport and local authority's, so you can fly at a club near Amsterdam.
 
Amsterdam is in the controlled area from Schiphol Airport.

Without special permission of de aircontrollers from the airport, it is not allowed to fly with model airplanes in the controlled area.
 
Thanks for the information....I guess the next question is if you know where any club/designated heli fields there are located in or near Amsterdam?

Since I live in the city center, I don't own a car, which might make this whole undertaking a bit more difficult :)
