Hello,

Recently I've built the Ansmann Macnum, the truggy version of the Ansmann Mad Rat, which is basically the same car as the lrp s10 twister buggy (both cars are based on the Team Associated B4). It really is a fun car to drive! In the beginning, it can be hard to drive because it's 2wd (of course it depends on the motor/ESC you're using how difficult it is, if you're using a stock motor, it probably wouldn't be that difficult). But once you've got used to driving it, it is a nice driving car. Assembling it isn't difficult at all, just follow the building steps in the manual! Have you already bought a motor/esc, or were they included in the kit?

Greetings,
Daniël

I don't know if you have tools because that's very important. you need good tools. I know, it's sometimes very expensive but when you have to buy much bolts, it's even expensive.

yea, i do not have proper tools, I borrowed some.. What tools would you recommend to buy?

Doesn't the manual include a list of required tools? You would need some philips screwdrivers (probably a PH 1), a 7mm socket driver (for the wheelnuts), and some hex wrenches (at least a 1.5 mm for the pinion gear).

If the wishbones aren't running smooth against the part between them, you could file them a little, like on the picture in this post.

I have no electronics just the body parts. thinking of a brushless sistem ?

I am using a hobbywing ezrun set (brushless), which exists out of a 9t motor, a 60A ESC and a program card, but of course there are plenty other motor/esc combinations. Link

Nice! On the photo's it only looks like you've forgotten the short front axles!

for the wheels? no I didn't :) they fell out without the wheels mounted on, so i kept them in the bag (not the wheels are on, so everything seems okay :) )

maybe 2 colors? It isn't very hard. I have a construction report of my xray 808e and I've painted my body in 2 colors. This was my first paint job and it was nog very hard. the only thing you need to do is masking your body very good. a very good tip. first paint the dark color and then the light color. I gonna make a new body with much more colors. On Goolge you have some nice designes. As the guys on this forum say much: Google is your best friend
