So...I finally got around to doing this proper and im happy with the results and especially happy with these blades.

325mm CF Night Blades with built in rechargeable nicads. Red LED on the tips, green on the bottom and blue on top I think i am going to increase voltage to the glow wires to make them a bit brighter. Im running them on a single lipo cell now. I will probably run a y cable off channel 3 on the RX and just use the main battery for powering the glow wires as well. SHould be fine and not really affect flight time much. Both glow wires (canopy & boom/fins) only draw .05 amps when connected.

I wish i was that good! No, i didnt do the blades myself. I found a chinese company that was making them and asked them to make some for me. Ill be importing them if others are interested though. Its not my intention to keep these entirely to myself. Although for the price i think many will wish that there was an easy way to do this yourself.
