het is even in het engels maar het helpt een hoop.
PROPWALK
You may find that on full-speed straightline runs, your boat veers slightly to the right; this is especially likely with surface-drive setups. The propeller spins counterclockwise, and the force of its rotation pushes the boat through the water, but it also turns it to the right. With a sub-surface setup, the strut blade creates a stream of air bubbles that interfere with the prop's bite in the upper half of its rotation; this, too, contributes to strong propwalk.
Another cause of propwalk in a monohull is the strut blade. When water hits the strut blade, it runs along both sides of the strut blade and creates an underwater "wake." But the water streams don't immediately blend after passing the strut's trailing edge, so until that happens, the upper half of the prop rides in turbulent water.
* Adjustments. On a surface-drive, you can compensate for propwalk by bending the strut to the left in much the same way as you would turn an outboard engine to make a boat turn left. But if your strut is exactly centered on the transom, twisting it to the left will put the prop to the left of the boat's centerline, and this may cause the boat to chine-walk badly. Surface-drive models work better when the prop is far behind the transom and in "clean" water.
The solution for propwalk with a sub-surface drive is to position the strut hub far enough behind the strut blade to allow the water streams to converge before the water hits the prop blades. It is usually enough to move the strut hub back an inch. Although the newly extended prop shaft does allow more water to hit the top half of the prop, if the prop rides too far behind the transom, the model may lift when running at full speed, and this can cause the boat to hop, especially in the comers. A combination of a slightly bent strut and an elongated strut hub is often the best way to counter propwalk. If you plan to twist the strut to the left, install the stuffing tube so that it exits to the right of the keel centerline (you don't want the prop on the left of the centerline!).
dit stuk legt het gehele propwalk gebeure uit en legt ook een beetj uit hoe het te verhelpen is.
