Smartpropo Plus: nieuwe versie

Veel mensen die problemen hadden met XP SP2 zijn nu tevreden, maar...
Probeer Shaul Eiz. te bereiken via zijn site. Liever in engels, geef alle informatie.

Ok,
Shaul gemaild, met bijvoeging van wat foutmeldingen en de inf en sys drivers van de orginele smartpropo.

Hij gaat er mee bezig.
als hij dit ook kan fixen word je RC echt als een 8 kanaals joystick herkent onder windows.(met daarbij nog wat schakelfuncties.)
dan hoeven we dus ook niet meer te kopiëren met de bekende dll file.

Nu effe wachten tot het gelukt is.
 
Shaul Eiz.. werkt aan een nieuwe versie, gebaseerd op de gebruikers opmerkingen. Waarschijnlijk met mogelijkheid een paar parameters te veranderen, vanbinnen de DLL.

Klopt, maar Bast75 vroeg een goedkoop alternatief om van je zender een joystick te maken. Dit is er één.
Maar inderdaad is de "hoofd"draad over smartpropo, dus blijf ik er verder buiten.
 
Nieuwe alpha versie van smartpropo (V 2.1.0, zal 2.0.3 later vervangen)

Highlights:
- Single DLL controlled by a GUI console.
- Manual & Automatic shift selection with improved PPM encoding.
Since this is an Alpha release I'll be happy to learn what you think about it and receive bug reports.

I'm sorry - SPP has not proven to be useful for anything but FMS since most other games do not seem to use the standard WINMM joystick interface but rather go directly to the joystick-driver.

If there are people that are happy with version 2.0.3 for other products other than FMS I will make sure the next version still supports them. Are there any?

What Mr. Seki started doing was to create a WDM version of SmartPropo which is a whole different ballgame - it is a driver that plugs directly to the Windows OS (Incompatible between OS's by definition). I might move to that one day - but we have to bear in mind that it is a risky thing that might damage (if there is a bug) the whole system on the user's machine, and, that we will have to write a new driver for every version of Windows (98, NT, 2000, XP 2003).

Das snel :D

Bijv M$ Flightsim gebruikt de div joysticks beschikbaar in t joystick panel.

Bij ikarus AFDP kan een joystick worden gebruikt door de 2e speler. (indien org dongle aangesloten)
Deze sim dongle is ook weer te zien in t joystick panel.

Het zou dus leuk zijn om de zender als std joystick in t control panel terug te vinden.
 
allemaal leuk, maar ik kan er niet achter komen hoe ik mijn zender op de computer aansluit...
of moet ik gewoon naar een modelzaak lopen en een computer ontvanger vragen ofzo?
hoe werkt dat?
 
Zoek het PPM signaal op de zender met hulp van

Gebruik een gepantserde kabel om signaal en massa naar een 3.5mm MONO jack te brengen.
PC: micro of audio line ingang.
Soms is het beter om de signaalspanning te verminderen door een potentiometer of twee weerstanden.
Om de kabel te testen: 'virtual scope' en 'PPM audio thermometer'.
