go to www.f3k.nl and click than on mimi there you can find nice pictures when frans is building the mimi.
but are you looking for a full-size or a mini?
the cost for the mimi with no rc is 25 euro

hello

first of all, sorry for my bad english.

If have never flew before and want to start whit dlg, i don't now if that's the best way to learn flying.

Can't you build a dlg yourself? by building your own plane (dlg) you will see and learn how the airplane works, and if you crash (you will;)) you can easy repair it.

and it's a good thing to see the airplane flying which is build by yourself!

And like jasper already asked, what kind of wingspan do you want? fullsize or mini? if you wan't a fullsize dlg you should look for a time on the part of the forum ''te koop vliegtuigen''

good luck!

kind regards,

justus

Thank you for your replys.
Sorry I didn't make everything clear. When I said 'beginer', I mean a beginer for DLG. I have experiences for several kinds of model airplane including EP glider. So I think DLG will not be so difficult for me. For the size, I don't really care about it. The full size or smaller one are both OK. Is there great difference between them for a new DLG player?
I went to f3k.nl for the MINI. It looks great, and the cost must be much lower than to buy one. For me, the problem is I'm an oversea student, which means I don't have enough resources to build one by myself, like space, tools, time, and so on. An ART kit will make things easy for me. This is also one of the reasons I'm considering a used plane which has already been constructed.

Again, thank you very much. Enjoy your flight.

Building a MiMi doesn't take that much resources, just a good vacuum cleaner to get rid of all the balsa dust after you sanded the wings :D

A nice, good flying alternative could be a Spinnin' Birdy by Decker planes (see Decker-Planes - Spinnin ` Birdy ): a very nice lasercut kit that you can build using very little tools, space and other resources...
