Bouwverslag 8ste Schnellboot Flottille, Italeri 1/35

Stond online op idisk echter die service is opgehouden, dus downloaden is nu lastig. Moet eens kijken naar een andere online opslag oid. Dus sorry even niet beschikbaar.
 
Toevallig ben ik er nu een in elkaar aan het zetten :)
3 graupner 600 bb turbo motoren trokken alleen bijna de assen uit de romp..... dus dat ben ik nu aan het repareren.

Gelukkig wordt er nog wat gedaan .
Ik ben zelf ook nog bezig ,
3 motoren Graupner 2 speed 480 race en 1 speed 400
Schroefassen zelf gemaakt
Romp moet even opnieuw gespoten worden ivm los laten van vorig spuitwerk .
Heb nu speciale primer voor op kunstof gehaald in Lelystad

ja inderdaad 't is al een tijdje stil hier en ik was erg druk bezig om alle 186 paginas te lezen.
IK moet de romp nog spuiten, dat wil ik zsm doen maar ja, eerst die schroefassen vastzetten (de s100 staat nu te drogen ben benieuwd hoe vast alles zit straks). Dan de romp spuiten en dan eindelijk gaan opbouwen.
Die primer is dat wat? aangezien ik nog moet spuiten wil me zo goed mogelijk voorbereiden, ik spuit altijd statische modellen in 1:350..dit is toch even wat anders :)

I'm een nieuw lid aan dit forum; en, ik moet zeggen, dat ben ik extremeley geïmponeerd met het werk u kerels in dit model hebt gezet. Na het zoeken van het afgelopen anderhalf jaar voor een redelijk geprijste uitrusting, vond ik definitief één en ontving vorige week het. Mijn zoon en ik ben ook van plan het in een RC-boot om te zetten. Ik heb Internet geschuurd, die zo veel informatie proberen te accumuleren over s-100 mogelijk. Ik kon vinden een exemplaar van de Matrijs van Harald Fock Die deutschen Schnellboote 1914 - 1945 voor 40 Euro, met het verschepen aan New York. Dat is zeker veel beter dan $88-$184.60 USD van Abebooks of Amazonië. Dat verlaat me met meer geld voor de elektronika. :D


Zoals ik door alle 186 pagina's van deze draad las, merkte ik op dat iedereen hun eigen methodes heeft om de schil waterdicht te maken. Heeft iedereen nagedacht bespuitend het binnenland, met inbegrip van het elektromateriaal (exclusief de motoren, natuurlijk) met nevel op duidelijk silicium rubber waterdicht makend dichtingsproduct? Niet alleen de schil zou waterdicht zijn, maar de elektroverbindingen/de componenten tegen water worden beschermd die van het dek binnengaan. Mijn enkel twee centen. :proost:
 
Balrog, love the pictures, but could you make a small selection of the best ones and post only links to the other pictures? So many pictures in a single posting makes the page load slowly, and also causes high usage of data when accessing this forum on a mobile device.

i`m building a revell 1:72 S-100 (slow going atm, waiting for parts)

Je kunt beter eerst een goed primer op de boot spuiten
Ik heb primer van Tamiya gekocht ,wil hem evt as Zondag spuiten want dan heb je een goede temperatuur
Maar eerst goed vetvrij maken

Spuiten kun je het beste doen als de schroefassen zitten ingebouwdt en de rest van de boot leeg is inverband met het op de kop ztten van de romp om hem rondom te spuiten

Hello, kuperus.

I received the model last week. The only thing I did was open the box to make sure that this kit did not suffer from the same problems others complained about. So far, so good. I need to research the component options available before starting it. I want to make sure I have everything required before I start the actual construction. My main goal is to replicate the Lurssen rudder operations like Puffin did with his build. I watched the Youtube video; and, I have to say, it was very impressive. As I wrote before, I have the Fock book and I will blow up the S-100 drawings/hull lines to 1/35 and 1/10 scale so I can compare measurements and detail placement against the kit. As far as I'm concerned, this will be as tedious a chore as it is reworking my Trumpeter 1/16 scale king Tiger w/Henschel Turret into a mechanically accurate model. That project is already in Year 4. ;)

I researched the application of waterproofing sealants and have read that clear silicone rubber sealant can be safely sprayed over electrical boards, connections, etc. (except the motors). This method is used in the electrical industry to waterproof casings and internal parts used in humid/wet conditions. It does not affect the operation of the electrical equipment and it is non-conductive. That means no possibility of moisture-related shorts which could basically destroy parts of the system.

Yes i now that about the siliconespray .
But i mean the paint of the hull from the boat .
You have to clean that whery goed and spray the primer first and after that the paint .
I am cona spray the primer tommorow on the hull of the boat

I understood what you meant, tiger1gek; and I am in agreement. :)

Degreasing the hull is important. I'm going to use automotive lacquer primer to coat mine. I prefer it because it gives a better surface for paint to adhere than hobby paint primers. The hull will also be sprayed with a clear overcoat to seal the paint.

What color will you use for the anti-fouling paint below the waterline? I'm considering using Schiffsbodenfarbe III Rot, Kaiserrot II (RAL 8013), since it is listed in the Farbtonubersicht fur Anstriche der Kriegsmarine Werkstof-Teilblatt Nr. TL-F!. The closest matches which I've found are FS 30017 Earth Red and Polly Scale Panzer Red Brown.
