Hobao Hyper 8SC-e
Hyper 8SC, the bigger brother of the Hyper 10SC, is now available as Ready-To-Run kit. Derived from Hyper 9, the truck runs on longer chassis and larger front and rear shock towers to give more stability and durability which most big trucks will encounter the problems of.
The electric version of the 1/8 short course race truck, Hyper 8SC-e, includes high performance features such as Hobby Wing 2350KV brushless motor and electronic speed control, all controlled by Hobao 2.4GHz 3-channel digital radio system.

Motor
Er was wat onduidelijkheid over welke motor er nu precies in die 8SC-e zat. Stefan Scheuenpflug van Hobao Europe heeft duidelijkheid gegeven. De eerste batch met 8SC-e bestond uit motoren met 2350KV, de nieuwe batches zullen een 2000KV motor hebben. Het verschil in snelheid zal zo ongeveer 10-12km/u zijn tussen de 2350KV en de 2000KV.

After months of research and preparation, Hobao has finally decided to start our own Europe office in Germany to better serve our customers and drivers and to increase the market share in this competitive continent. Hobao Europe will start its operation by end of February 2011.

HoBao werd eerst door Graupner geleverd. Sinds een aantal maanden word het merk verdeeld door Vader en zoon Scheuenpflug. Zij rijden wedstrijden op een hoog niveau en willen het merk weer op de kaart zetten.
Door de prima kwaliteit en door de zeer korte lijnen met vader & zoon Scheuenfplug is het prettig werken met dit merk.
Om dit merk weer op de kaart te zetten in Europa wilt Hobao-Europe het volgende bewerkstelligen:
* Alle modellen van Hobao zullen op voorraad zijn bij de Nederlanse winkel(s).
* Alle onderdelen van Hobao zullen op voorraad zijn bij de Nederlanse winkel(s).
* In september 2011 is er een bijeenkomst met 20 Nederlandse winkels die interesse hebben in het merk Hobao.
Daarmee is de doelstelling om een stabiel dealer netwerk te creëren voor HoBao in Nederland.

Should be around 50 KM/H, I had no possibility to measure that exactly but it can be also more.
-Is there an instruction manual of this car which explains the configuration of this car (details about toe in, camber etc, suspension adjustment, etc). The basis instruction manual only tells how the car is being build up.

Short Course Trucks sind Fahrzeuge die Ihren Großen Brüdern den Trophy Trucks nachempfunden sind, diese erfreuen sich besonders in den USA, aber auch in Europa sehr großer Beliebtheit. Mit dem Hyper 8SC ist der Einstieg in diese Klasse leichter denn je!
Während der Entwicklungsphase wurde mit dem HoBao Factory Team auf verschiedenen Rennstrecken in den USA und Europa getestet um Erfahrung in dieser neuen und aufregenden Klasse zu sammeln, aus diesem Grund besitzt der Hyper 8SC drei mit Öl gefüllte Kegeldifferentiale um die Kraft auf die zwei Antriebsachsen optimal zu verteilen und eine bessere Traktion zu erhalten, was ebenso dem Fahrverhalten zugute kommt. Um den nötigen Grip auf jedem Untergrund zu erzeugen, liegen unsere speziellen Short Course Reifen mit bei. Es wurde natürlich auch an die Gewichtsverteilung gedacht, um diese optimal auf den Hyper 8SC anzupassen haben wir die Komponenten so angeordnet dass, das Gewichtsverhältnis (Vo.-Hi.) in etwa 60% – 40% beträgt. Das bedeutet, du erhältst ein besseres Einlenkverhalten und bessere Kontrolle über dein Fahrzeug während der Flugphase, außerdem wird dein Hyper 8SC bei der Landung von fetten 17mm Big Bore Stoßdämpfer unterstützt. Den Antriebsstrang haben wir aus der bewährten Hyper 9 Serie verwendet und optimiert, um der Größe entsprechend weniger Verschleiß und eine bessere Beschleunigung zu erhalten. Dieses Modell lässt sich mit original HoBao Tuningteilen sehr leicht Aufrüsten und z.B. für den harten Wettbewerbseinsatz vorbereiten, um deinen Gegnern mal so richtig zu Zeigen wo es lang geht! Das Aggressive Karosserie Design verleiht dem Hyper 8SC zugleich eine stabile und aerodynamische Karosserieform was sich ebenfalls positiv auf die Fahreigenschaften auswirkt. Unter der Karosserie verbirgt sich ein spezielles 3-Punkt Überrollbügel System, es sorgt dafür das die Komponenten bei einem Crash nicht beschädigt werden. Wie sollte es auch anders sein, der Hyper 8SC ist durch sein Rennchassis natürlich voll Abstimmbar, egal für welchen Untergrund…
