
Innovative New Chassis
The innovation designed into the Rally begins with an all-new low-CG chassis that's not like anything you've seen before. Extreme Brushless Power and 4WD requires a chassis that won't flex under load for arrow-straight, hard-charging acceleration. To offer the required rigidity, smoothly integrated ribs form a triangulated structure that's optimized for the loads imparted by the suspension and powertrain. Underneath, the chassis is ultra-smooth to reduce drag and prevent snags driving through brush.


Low Center of Gravity
Rally introduces a new low center of gravity chassis for the ultimate handling experience. The race-tuned ride height paired with the high-performance Ultra Shocks deliver off-road versatility that allows you to tackle rough terrain and big obstacles. On the track, the advantage of a low center of gravity (cg) is noticed instantly by the lower lap times. Rally feels planted and secure at speed and at the same time delivers authentic rally handling and realism that makes rally racing such incredible fun.

Perfect Weight Bias
Each component on the chassis was carefully positioned for optimal weight distribution and space utilization. The result is perfect weight bias for neutral handling precision. The bulk of the mass is distributed down the centerline of the chassis for smooth, stable cornering.


Modular Simplicity
Old designs made servicing of 4-wheel drive vehicles cumbersome and time-consuming. Traxxas has a better way. Modular design allows the entire front section to be removed with just 5-screws, and the rear assembly with just 4-screws. The World's Most Advanced Ready-To-Race® Radio System

Total Control. The Rally feratures the world's most advanced Ready-To-Race® radio system for precise, long-range control. Comfortable, powerful, and reliable, the all-new Traxxas® TQi™ radio system matches a full complement of tuning features with a high-output 2.4GHz signal, and proven Traxxas reliability for rock-solid performance. It's so advanced, it doesn't even have an external antenna. However, the most important new feature may already be in your pocket. The TQi can be equipped with an optional Docking Base (#6510) that turns your iPhone® or iPod touch® into a powerful tuning tool for your Traxxas model. The full-color display combines with the Traxxas Link™ App to deliver an intuitive, high-definition, full-color graphical user interface that unlocks the mysteries of optimizing your radio system for ultimate vehicle control.

5-channel Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security
The TQi 2.4GHz micro receiver fits easily into any vehicle, and features dual channel-1 outputs for easy installation in vehicles with dual steering servos—no Y-harness necessary! The integrated LINK button makes it fast and easy to bind the receiver, and the two-color LED indicates power-on and bind status for fool-proof control and convenience. Traxxas Link Model Memory allows the receiver to recognize up to thirty TQi 2.4GHz Traxxas Link enabled transmitters—just switch on and drive. In the event of signal loss due to an accidental switch-off or depleted batteries, the receiver will automatically return the throttle to neutral and hold the last commanded steering position. The Fail Safe programming is built-in and does not need to be set or activated. Three telemetry ports are incorporated in the 5-channel receiver to allow real-time data to be transmitted from your Traxxas model to the TQi transmitter.

Included 7-Cell Battery Pack
Rally includes a genuine Power Cell Battery Pack to make sure you experience all the performance that's been engineered into your Traxxas model. Power Cell packs are optimized for free-flowing power and maximum punch with premium quality, low-resistance cells; flexible, silicone-jacketed 12-gauge wire; heavy-duty welded tabs; and Traxxas' high-output, gold plated, high-current connectors. Precision assembly with attractive, individually wrapped cells and clear overwrap complete the Traxxas Power Cell package, and seven cells give Rally 8.4 volts of motivation for maximum speed.

Versatile Battery Compartment
The Rally adapts to multiple battery configurations to accept today's technology and tomorrow's innovations. 6 or 7-cell NiMH battery packs and a variety of LiPo battery configurations can be installed easly.


Integrated Personal Transponder Mount
The integrated personal transponder mount makes it easy to install your transponder and move it to the other Traxxas vehicles in your fleet. No tape required, two screws is all it takes. Traxxas makes racing easy!

Waterproof Receiver Box
The Rally's receiver is fully enclosed for protection from the elements when your rally race rages through rain, mud, or snow. The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special watertight seal, and a custom blue O-ring seals the box to protect the receiver from water. The enclosure can be opened and closed without losing the sealing properties of the box, allowing the receiver to be removed for service, or for aftermarket receivers to be installed. Patent pending.

The Velineon VXL-3s speed control is loaded with high-grade technology to precisely deliver maximum power to the motor. It's engineered for today's battery technology and beyond. Two-stage low voltage detection allows full LiPo compatibility, including powerful 11.1-volt 3S packs!

The Velineon Power System doesn't waste power (or speed) on flimsy connectors. The patented Traxxas High-Current connector features gold-plated connectors in a virtually zero loss design that effortlessly funnels your battery's total power to the electronics to keep things running cool and at full capacity.

Maxx Cable 12-Gauge Wire
This super-flexible, high-current, low-resistance 12-gauge, wire acts like a series of giant pipes, flowing energy in and out of the electronic speed control. The Traxxas Connector combined with Maxx cable is a better engineered solution for extracting all the power your battery has to give.


Hex Hardware
Pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive hardware is used throughout for extra strength, and easy maintenance and repair. The black-oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high tech look and feel.

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings
Precision 5x11mm rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dirty environments. They are used in all exposed locations on the car and are virtually maintenance free.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks™
High-speed on- and off-road action requires rugged, responsive shocks that can take abuse. Traxxas Ultra Shocks are proven tough as stock equipment for Traxxas Maxx trucks. The high-volume body yields large oil capacity, and a silicone bladder separates oil from air within the shock for consistent damping action, even during all-day off-road sessions. Dual X-ring seals give super-smooth performance without weeping or leaking, and Ultra Shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons.

Digital High-Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
Rally racing requires a powerful steering servo for responsive performance. The Traxxas 2075 digital high-torque, ball bearing steering servo comes standard for precision control, quick response, and unmatched torque—all in a waterproof case. Over 125 oz-in torque commands the Rally with authority, and the servo's 0.16-second speed turns your inputs into instant response at the wheels.


Extruded Aluminum Driveshaft
The Rally's center driveshaft is formed from extruded aluminum. There are no dogbones to wear, no drive cups to wobble. The extrusion process allows the shaft to be hollow and lightweight with internal splines that fit directly and securely onto the input shafts of the front and rear drive assemblies. The shaft runs perfectly straight and true and offers superior durability. Traxxas engineers highlighted this important innovation with vivid blue anodizing and a laser-etched Traxxas logo.

Single-Screw Motor Access
Inspired by the innovative E-Revo, Rally features a unique mount that holds the Velineon 3500 motor securely yet releases instantly with just one screw. Gear-mesh adjustments are fast and easy and the motor can be removed in just seconds.

Revo-Spec® Differentials
Race-proven in the 7-time National Champion Revo, Rally's differentials represent the state of the art in power handling and efficiency. Precision silicone gaskets and X-ring seals allow the diffs to be tuned for specific running conditions by varying the viscosity of the fluid inside them. Differential access for tuning is quick and easy. Just remove the front or rear cover and the entire differential slides right out. Rally let's you focus on having fun driving at the racetrack instead of being chained to the workbench scrambling through complex assemblies.

Heavy-Duty Driveshafts
Traxxas' telescoping, universal-joint driveshafts have evolved for even greater strength and articulation and are standard equiopment on the Rally. The U-joint driveshafts allow for maximum suspension movement and drivetrain efficiency, resulting in longer travel, tighter turning, and full power delivery. Extra material and fine-tuned design greatly increase torque handling. The shafts can also be used to upgrade the Slash 2WD and other Traxxas models!

Revo®-Spec Torque-Control™ Slipper Clutch
Another Traxxas exclusive, the Rally's patented slipper clutch design uses special semi-metallic friction material and finned aluminum alloy pressure plates to dissipate heat and provide consistent traction control. The slipper is easily adjusted without disassembly or removal, and the unique 3-pad design is proven rugged in Traxxas' most powerful electric and nitro vehicles. It's the perfect compliment to Velineon brushless power and 4WD, offering the ultimate in traction control.

Heavy-Duty 32-Pitch Gears
Extreme brushless horsepower is never an afterthought at Traxxas--we engineer every component with the demands of brushless power in mind. The Rally driveline is built to handle the full-power thrust of the Traxxas Velineon system and accommodate future power upgrades down the road. The spur gear's rugged 0.8 module/32-pitch teeth assure total reliability no matter how much power you pour on.


Mamba Monster Compatible
The Rally's low-CG chassis allows the massive Mamba Monster power system—which normally motivates trucks twice the weight of the Rally—to drop right in with no parts modification required. Overkill? Perhaps, but we can't resist going 80+mph. We don't think you'll resist either, so the drivetrain is built to handle the horsepower and speed.

Long-Travel Suspension
Unlike road-car rally conversions, the Traxxas Rally has huge amounts ultra-plush suspension travel that swallows up jumps and delivers incredible off-road control. All that travel gives Rally a truly authentic look and handling response that accurately simulates international rally racing, whether you're in the dirt or on the road. The fully-optimized front axle carrier is a result of computer modeling that allowed engineers to design for maximum articulation without binding or interference. Tight steering response is always there, even at the extreme ranges of the suspension travel. Double-shear tie rods and camber links simply can't pop off, so you always stay in control. Robust construction wards off crash damage, and oversized 10x15mm inboard bearings and 5x11mm outboard bearings are incredibly durable and smooth.

Optimum-Geometry Steering
with Integrated Servo Saver
No part of Rally was overlooked in the quest for durability, precision, and performance. The dual-bellcrank design pivots on rubber-sealed ball bearings for smooth action in the harshest conditions, and an integrated cam-type servo saver protects the servo gears from crash impacts without sacrificing steering precision.

Heavy-Duty 4mm Turnbuckles
Rally's turnbuckles have broad flats that make it easy to set toe-in and camber. The tough steel construction is ultra durable and the captured rod ends won't pop apart during rigorous off-road pounding.

Progressive Springs
Progressive rate springs are lighter through the initial range of travel to maintain traction and composure over the usual track ruts and bumps. Hit the big jumps and the springs tighten up to prevent bottoming the chassis at the extreme ranges of the suspension travel.

Officially Licensed BFGoodrich® tires
Traxxas' attention to detail for Rally includes authentic, fully-licensed tire designs that replicate the actual racing rubber used on dirt or gravel rally circuits. The BFGoodrich® Rally Gravel tires offer superior traction on pavement, dirt, gravel, and more. The tire's unique directional tread pattern and sidewall design is captured in high-grip rubber, right down to the raised lettering on the sidewall.

Rally 12-Spoke Wheels
Equal parts style and strength, the new rally wheels feature a new 12-Spoke Rally Replica design color matched to the body style you choose. The wheels are molded in color (not painted) for scratch-proof good looks. Fully compatible with factory Traxxas and aftermarket tires, the new wheels also feature 12mm hexes and the same offset as Slash 4X4 wheels.
