Nu ik de buggy heb kunnen testen, maar een topic geopend om een review in te zetten van deze budget-buggy.

The BZ-222 chassis in this ARR version is a standard 1/10th scale buggy layout, though it can be configured for mid, or rear motor layouts depending on your preference or track conditions. An adjustable slipper clutch means you can efficiently dial in the power for optimal traction. A stiff 3mm alloy chassis can take a beating and come back for seconds. Like all racing buggies, the BZ-222's suspension is fully adjustable for toe-in, camber, and shock position. Speaking of shocks, the BZ-222 comes with full alloy shocks as standard equipment. The threaded alloy body has an adjustable collar so you can tun your spring compression to perfection.
Powering the BSR BZ-222 comes from a common 2S 7.4V hardcase which is centerline mounted. With the right spacers, the chassis will even accept the "shorty" race packs. Included is a steering servo saver. Adding to the durability is the unique belt drive system that runs between the spur gear and the differential. The belt adds a small amount of give to the system, which helps reduce shock to your gears and motor.
This ARR version includes a water resistant 60A*brushlessESC, and 3300kv*3650 inrunner motor. With high performance pin style race tires and foam inserts pre-mounted to dish style wheels, rounding out the package is a multi-color, pre-printed plastic body.

In december kreeg ik de buggy binnen. Alles zag er netjes uit.
Hobbyking gt-2 ontvanger en een turnigy 2s 5800mah 35-60c lipo erin.
In de specs staat dat deze lipo te groot is. Maar past nog net onder het vakje om de batterij vast te klemmen.
Vervolgens natuurlijk even geprobeerd, en na zo'n 3-5 minuten rijden blokkeerden de achterwielen.
Snel thuis alles opengemaakt en was de belt van de belt-drive kapot.
Even verder bekeken en de gearbox weer in elkaar gezet zonder belt erin. Toen kwam ik erachter dat een kogellager aan het diff ontbrak en zo een klein beetje schuin in de gearbox hing. Misschien heeft dit ervoor gezorgd dat de belt zo snel kapot ging..?
In ieder geval gelijk contact met hobbyking opgenomen.
Ik kon ervoor kiezen om een complete buggy te krijgen als vervanging. Maar, dan moest de kapotte buggy weer in de originele doos terug naar Hobbyking. Maar dat moest dat wel naar engeland, want daar kunnen ze hem controleren. Dat zou me dan wel wat gaan kosten en heb dan niet alle zekerheid dat dat dan wel een goede buggy is. Dus, gekozen voor de vervangende onderdelen.
Doordat mijn belt was gebroken, maar ook omdat de gearbox was beschadigd en het diff niet compleet was, 3 onderdelen onder garantie laten bestellen. De belt was wel backorder dus dat zou even kunnen duren.
Na bijna 2 maanden eindelijk de vervangende onderdelen verzonden. En in 1,5 week binnengekregen. Snel alles in elkaar en mee kunnen rijden!
Op de ongelukjes na een prima wagentje. Met goed afstellen van de belt-drive voelt hij ook al een stuk fijner aan.
