The skywatcher is way to heavy for the motor. What you can do to fly it better:
- Charge battery’s full just before you fly, the batterys loose their “punch” if you don’t use them immediately
- Loose all excessive weight to make it lighter. There is a useless plastic coil around the motor, remove it. Try to remove as mucht as poseble, or even go fly without the canopy.
- add 1 battery cell in serial with the other existing pack. So you get an eight cell battery pack instead of 7. This will give the motor more voltage and more power.
To fly:
Anticipate! If the Skywatcher wants to dive just steer a direction and it wil go up again. The Skywatcher is very hard to control.. actually its more like a game to keep it up in the air as long as possible than actually fly a helicopter
The longest time is still by record holder Salamon with 34 seconds on a basic skywatcher.
