Subject: Re: Dead tqi transmitters.
Hello,
Its not abouth a valid warranty claim but about the transmitter just turning death after an update. The shop were I bought it tells me to call the importer because it’s more than 2 years a go I bought it. The importer just says it can not be repaired and I have to buy a new one.
Of course I can buy a new one. But sinds the updates are forced to do to use the app and they come very often I see no guarantee that my next transmitter will also die wen updating.
I also read on the Traxxas forum that this happened to a lot of people but that Traxxas can reflash the Firmware.
I must say that I’m very disappointed in how updates are forced and transmitters can then just die and how everybody keeps pointing to someone else. (Toemen were I bought it, rc connect that imports them and also Traxxas support).
I handle my transmitters carefully but that doesn’t help because they just die in a forced firmware update.
If there is no repair option or this is not picked up I must say I really lost confidence in Traxxas stuff. I drive 14 cars, 6 cars from Traxxas but I must say there won’t be coming a new one from Traxxas wen transmitters just die like this.
I hope something is done with this.
Kind regards,
Levon
