Hello there,

Please forgive me as I don't speak Dutch...

Just to let you know that I've received my kit today... the kit quality is just AWESOME

Man I simply can't believe what I've got in my hands :zon::zon::zon:

I'm going to send you the info via PM as I don't to start a war regarding shops, dealers and so on...

This thread is worthless without pics!

Your reply seems like you don't agree with Augusto's dealer policy.

Well... pics won't be any different from the ones that are here and there... but OK I'll post a few once during the building process...

I'm located in Diegem, Belgium

And no I'm not a sponsored pilot  (my bank account still remember what has happened!)

that would be great..

and why would youre pictures be the same as the others?
you would be the first to post a building report of the aurora, as far as i know.

and everyone encounters new problems during the construction of his heli.

PS: pardon my terrible english.
as we in holland call it: "steenkolen engels"

Coming from Diegem my guess would be that you got it from RCmarket, but you know you can simply share that information you know. Nothing secret about it.

Congratulations with your kit anyways.

Here are my following steps...
I've attached the right frame and am slowly moving to the swashplate...
(as the engine, servos, canopy are still missing I'll have the stop somewhere... all those things are currently blocked at the custom )
Moreover Stratus is supposed to fly during the weekend

OK guys... today I'm gonna be a little more didactic... as we'll have to deal the fan hub that comes pretapped for an OS engine...
I'm planning to use a Yamada YS91SR on the baby so that means that the fan hub will have to be retapped... that's easy and done in 5min. provided that you're using the correct tools.
You need a 8mm/1mm tap that is tapping when turning right, a tap made to tap aluminium... anf of course some oil...

Here's the tool in action...

Now look at the result ;)

As my engine is still blocked at custom I won't follow the assembly manual steps' order anymore...

Look at the baby, it starts to look like something  there should be a carbon plate below the engine (not installed yet!) and I haven't secured the landing gear.

Now let's move to another marvelous piece of hardware, the tail rotor...
