other things to do...
1. I have to make the beadlocks, or that's what I call them even though they aren't real beadlocks per se'. those are the black hoops on the rear tires.
2. hidden cameras. can't have enough. W/monitors
3. not sure if I'm gona need power steering. maybe, but possilby not. there isn't much weight up at the front. it's all in the back.
4. finish up the tailpipes coming out of the mufflers. I have the place where they are supposed to end up, and tube coming out of the mufflers, now I need to bridge the gap.
5. a ton of helms joints for the control arms of the air foils. first manual operateted, then motor driven.
6. The side air foils(2) are air-driven. each has two ports, one for air going in, and one for out. need to get all that together.
7. on board computer.
8. winsheild wiper motors.
9. courtesy lights in the pass. compartment.
10. soundproofing, so that once inside the car. you don't hear the engine... much. right now it's loud as hell.
11. heat shields around every inch of the engine compartment area. and mostly up against the firewall.
12. on board fire ext. you know those. abc.
13. linear acc. arms that open and close the hatch.
14. insulation and duct work for the hatch.
15. tons of testing.
16. more testing.
17. installing 4 nos tanks, and a bunch of perforated steel surrounding the tanks. and holders for the tanks.
18. a steel plate that sits on the afterburner.
19. counterbracing for all the bodyparts that sort of "stick out".
20. heavier coils on the back. Now I did go up in weight from that one vid where I climb the car to rev the engine, but I'm going even higher. so I went from 400lbs. a coil, to 700, now I'm going upto 800lbs a coil. 4 coils at 800lbs. a coil. that's how much you need to keep it from rocking sideways. a lot of leverage to counter. i.e the car is 9' wide. with the front tires close together.
I do have a lot of the halogen light wiring cleaned up. if you look at earlier posts, you can see what a mess that was. I also have joystick type steering wheel, in place of the standard race car wheel. the handles are set up to fire the NOS tanks.
Om nog even terug te komen op mijn kleine die cast Tumblertje, ik ga hem een nieuwe (mat) zwarte verf laag geven. De verf die er nu op zit vind ik een beetje te glossy, ik zal foto's posten als ie klaar is.
