GR 130 First experience.

Hi Spotter, nice to see you're also building a GR130. However, just a word of caution: I wouldn't use the modified bearing. Under axial load the "gap" might cause a vibration to devellop and/or destroy the ceramic balls (and thereby the entire turbine).

Good luck !

Raymond

I thank you.
In the past I had looked and looked at your site, you do some exceptional work you are very good, I only did a test of construction of the bearing, certainly as you do it is safer but also more difficult because you have to calculate well how much to narrow the central ring , one thing I did not open,
you put the central ring in the freezer and the outer ring warm it?
greetings Alfonso

Hello Gerald,

I started to build a KJ66 from Artes, but I find later your GR130, as I have already made some parts, I'm building a KJ66 - GR130 hybrid.
I read your modification of the diffuser to change the angle from 14 to 13 degrees is my sketch is good?

Hi Joachim
You should change the spring in the tunnel to the front. If i see it correct, then it‘s in the back now!
