P1 Puma RIB racing-scratch building

Hello guys! Below I sum up the progress of the weekend:
1. Glueing the brass tube,
2. Fitting the ball bearings at the end of the brass tube and secure with Loctite,
3. Cutting the motor mounting plate and open the holes (very difficult task),
4. Cutting the horizontal plate of the leg.

Thank you Jan :)! Yes the carbon parts were necessary to make the construction stiff.
I have really missed your posts ;)! Make one by yourself I am sure it will be very successful.
Sorry, not much building going on here. As mentioned, the wheater is really bad here. No chance for painting the hull outdoors. As soon As the wheater improves, I will finish the hull and post updates again [emoji3]

Looking great Dim! I'm curious how it performs. Is it ready for a test run already?

And what motor do you use on it?

Thank you Jan! For a "proper" test run on a boat, no its not ready yet ... it does not have steering arms †!
Just to connect the motor with an esc yes it is ready. But I will not test it yet because I do not grease grease or oil on my hands when i work with glues etc.
The motor is a SSS 2960, 2200 KV, 1300 watts up to 27 volts, that you have mentioned on a discussion that we had few months ago.
I bought it 61 euros (including shipping costs and water jacket) from china it was the last piece and on discount.

Very wise to not use grease or any other lubricant before finishing with resin!

It is just the fact your pictures show an almost finished outboard, which it is not ;)
You make us a bit too enthusiastic!

Be careful next time posting such pictures [emoji14] :D

Thank you Michael for your kind words :)!
Haha... Sorry for the photos I ll be more careful next time ;)!!
The aluminum parts must also be painted so, you are right, I should be careful with any kind of lubricant.
