Ja leuk zo'n aluminium koffertje... maar moet je hem dan elke keer uit elkaar slopen om hem er weer in op te kunnen bergen? :roll:

Ik kan het zo snel niet vinden, maar aangezien jullie plaatjes ervan posten neem ik aan dat hij al te koop is.
Zo ja heeft iemand er dan ook ervaring mee ??? :?:

Ik heb gehoord over 2 á 3 weken wel, prijs is onbekend :wink:
 
Hi Laurens,

The "v3" kit has the following differences:

Latest 16A version includes upgraded and replaced parts HS1057, HS1058, HS1059, HS1002-1, and HS1004-1.

You can search for those part numbers on the align site to see the exact parts being replaced but this wont make much difference to you if you have never owned a TREX before so i will try to break it down for you simple and easy:

Basically the new kits comes with:

*** New rotorhead with 4 o-rings which makes for a stiffer head dampening meaning better tracking and flight characteristics

*** New main gear design with fan to help cool the motor

*** new flybar control arms to prevent binding from interaction with the mixing levers

*** New bearings in the collective lever pivot points for smoother operation and less slop

*** New landing gear

And a few other minor changes. These kits were made in March 2005 so just under 2 months ago and the manufacture date is on the back of the manual so you can verify this yourself when you get the kit to be certain you are getting the newest version of the kit.

We will also be getting the new CDE and HDE kits from Align as well

but the time frame and price are not certain yet. I expect this to NOT be an entry level Heli as it will be priced quite a bit higher. Im expecting between 200-230 EURO or so. Might be less or it might be more. Align hasnt announced a price officially yet so we have to wait and see.

The parts from the new HDE heli are essentially the same as the new "v3" kits but in black instead of grey and a few of them have some improvements to the design. If you own an older V3 TREX you can replace all parts from the new CDE and HDE helis on your older V3 as well.

Hope this answers your questions and sorry for doing it in english. Its way too much for me to be able to explain in dutch.

I'm looking around for an heli to fly this summer. Someone from the club at which I fly, sad that he just bought a T-REX (I believe the V2 version). He was very pleased with it, and recommended it for me. So I went looking at the internet and found the V2 and V3. that’s why I created this topic.
Because I want to fly it this summer I think I wait a little longer to, at least see the price and specs of the de T-Rex 450(CDE) XL CCPM, and what they include in the differed kits.

I just received my FC-18 back from a reparation, but it is still not working properly (@#$$%^). I don’t trust it anymore. Maybe they bring a kit of the T-REX which includes a transmitter ?

PS: English is not a problem for me, but as it is not my first language sorry for the (spelling) errors.
 
I doubt they will bring a kit with a radio included. These are normally lower end type of kits that do this.

However sometimes individual retailers will put together their own packages which would include everything you need to fly. I would recommend getting a decent radio tho for the trex as you will want at least a 3 point pitch and throttle curve for best flight performance and if you ever decide to go to eCCPM you will need a radio capable of doing the electronic mixing for 120 degree swashplate.

I dont blame you for waiting to see the prices on the new ones. Im very keen to see them as well but im sure that Align will not want to kill the market for the v2/v3 by pricing the CDE and HDE too close to the v2/v3 price so I expect that it will be a good deal higher in price. You dont want to cannabalize sales of your own products unless you plan on discontinuing the product and it doesnt yet look like they plan on that.

If the prise is to high for me I can always decide to buy the V2 or V3 :D .

I think that you are right about the radio transmitter, because I want to fly my planes with the same transmitter. I hope to find a second-hand FC-18 or FC28, or something similar/equal.
Otherwise it will be quite expensive to buy a new FC-18 AND an T-REX :cry: .

Echt als ik die heli zou hebben zou ik hem dus echt niet verven.
Vind het wel vet zo, zo'n vliegende banaan :lol: .

Ik ben nu heel erg aan het twijfelen tussen de niewe T-REX 450XL(CDE) of de nieuwste CP E-Sky Honey bee 3D (CP 2)

Ja ik weet dat je dit eigenlijk niet kan verglijken, maar ik heb weinig ervaring met heli's. Ik vlieg al enkele jaren met modelvliegtuigen. Nu wil ik ook micro heli gaan vliegen.

Mijn vraag: Is het voor mij (eigenlijk nog een beginner) aan te ragen om (met hulp van een heli loot van de club waar ik nu vlieg) met de T-REX te “leren” vliegen, of kan ik beter een goedkoope heli kopen en eerst daarmee wat “rommelen” om daarna over te stappen op B.V. de T-REX ??? :?:
(Ik koop liever in een keer iets goeds dan dat ik weer over moet stappen, maar het moet wel reëel blijven i.v.m. het “leren vliegen”)

Als je niet gelijk iets duurs en professioneels wilt:
Zo'n Zoom 400 (verbeterde)kloon niet iets? Die heeft geen zwakke staartrotor, maar met stang via mainmotor aangedreven, geloof ik.
De Walkera #35 of #45, oftewel Stamina 400 en nog vele andere namen. Prijzen liggen ook best goed, tussen de 200 en 300 $ :D
(Zelfde in € met invoerrechten/belastingen) vliegklaar met zender!

Heeft dezelfde problemen als de Zoom Geoffrey.

Als je thuis binnenhuis wilt vliegen en prutsen: Koop een FP micro heli. Nog goedkoper als de CP helitjes, en bij een crash heb je meestal geen schade (in tegenstelling met een CP waar je bij een crash meestal wel schade hebt) Als je op de club wilt vliegen (met les): Koop een zo groot mogelijke CP heli. Liefst een Logo of raptor ofzo.

Tja, anders een T-rex. Maar is wel een lullig dingetje om mee op een club te gaan vliegen. Leuk voor in het park :P

Maar als hij een T-rex duur vindt, dan wordt een Logo of raptor toch wel erg prijzig zou ik zeggen.

Ik denk dat je dan uiteindelijk het meeste plezier heb van een T-rex als een grotere heli te duur voor je is.

Soms zie ik ook wel eens 2de handse Raptors voor rond de 500€...
 
Ik ben op zoek naar een electro heli. Als ik naar het veldje van de club ga (in de weekeinde) ga ik met mijn vliegtuig(en) vliegen. Maar als ik door de week ergens een uurtje of wat tijd heb wil ik in het weiland naast ons huis (tussen de bomen dus weinig wind) gaan vliegen met een heli. Een brandstof heli leek mij niet geschikt. Ik hoor nu echter van steeds meer mensen dat ik beter een Raptor o.i.d. kan kopen.
Een fp micro heli is hier in ieder geval niet geschikt voor lijkt mij.

Kun je met b.v. een Raptor ook in een weiland naast je huis gan vliegen :?: of alleen bij een club op een veldjen ??? :?:

PS: Ik geef liever wat meer geld uit voor een goede heli, dan dat ik spijd krijg van een verkeerde aankoop :wink:

in principe kan je elke heli in een veldje naast je huis vliegen
enkel is het elektro gebeuren rustiger dan de brandstofversie's
er schijnt een elektrische raptor te zijn maar denk niet dat die hier al uit is ?
