Love this picture, clearer than previous pics. Been working hard today, both boats are repaired ready again for Wednesday. It's like having full size, always jobs to do. So the red rib has a strengthened transom, the blue one has a waterproof receiver box which is tucked away under the seat.

Trying to get a kneeboarders eye view. Its a lot harder than you might think. Paul dosnt like the idea of his expensive cameras getting a dunking.

When the GoPro was introduced, many surfers lost them because they were not buoyant. Make sure yours is in case it comes off.
For my GoPro's I have a bright orange floating device attached to it, so it floats and is easy to spot!

So a new mounting on a red kneeboard tried today. Lessons to learn keep wiping the lens....dont film into the sun....The camera set up worked very well, nice and steady so long as I kept the speed down. We should have some great footage, although my idea was just to insert bits of it into a film like we did with the two ribs. Because it was 80 grams heavier than the figure it sank, so Paul held it up and let go as I set off, then it stayed up the whole time. I think the wider foils helped, writing this I've had an idea for the expensive camera we could catch it as we came in then it wouldn't get a dunking, i will see what Paul thinks as its his camera, maybe we could have a few practice runs with mine.

With the buoyancy added to the housing, it might stay afloat enough.
Also use rain-X on the window of the lens.
Modern GoPro's feature a window with a nano coating, which is water repellent all it's lifespan. Rain-X does the same, but requires some wind (apparent wind created by movement).

Looking forward to the video!

Forgot to add: if you apply rain-X to the lens window (of the housing) and it does het wet, wind will blow off the droplets. That is what I meant.

Great to hear to motor arrived!
Jet-Fox first then! Good luck with making it fit and work!

Jet Fox, success it works, just trying now to get the most out of it, next is a smaller exit cone.
Might be pulling a skier next.

One end of the lake has a beach you can drive onto . The farmer who owns the lake charges a small fee, and i got permission from him to sail my boat. It's popular now with paddleboarders which seems to be the new craze. Some brave souls go wild swimming, those with sense use a kayak
