Haha, nee hoor, dit was een (waarschijnlijk) eenmalige actie, het leek mij wel leuk (en dat was het ook) om eens binnen te vliegen met mijn kisten. Er zijn 2 clubs die redelijk in de buurt zijn, maar op dit moment gaat nog niets boven mijn vliegwei op een kilometertje, alhoewel ze hier waarschijnlijk binnenkort gaan bouwen. (Grondonderzoek is al geweest)...
De economie maakt meer kapot dan je lief is....

I found your plain in youtube and tracked it to this forum. I also built the same plane I have many problems. Plus an am beginner builder so i has not been easy.
Here my plane , about 900mm WS and 370g, using basswood .
I have a couple of questions"
1. What is the size of the balsa stick you are using
2. I read in the tread that you modified the tale length and size of the aileron and rudder. Does the plans reflect this changes?
3. Any advice to build this plane, based on your experience ?

Could you please confirm the size of balsa you used for the body of the plane?
Also in this forum you mentioned that you had increased length of 5cm , can you please confirm if the plans you posted includes those 5cm or i need to add them?
I attach my plane, i have forgottenn how many time i have crashed and how many time i have repaired it. And still does not fly like your. The Savage bobber is my favorite pane and i want to build one that fly.

I guess, by body you mean the fuselage. The four outrigers are 4x4mm also the crosssmembers. The struts are all 3 by 3mm.
The plans on Aerofred already have the 50mm extension and also the rudder and elevator are 10% larger then the original drawings I did find on the internet. (I had to make the rudder and elevator 10% larger to make it fly good at my plane).

I started my second bobber. However, my experience, my skills and the average 12 mph wind speed in my local park make me to build a heavier than 250 grams model. I do not have an indoor place to fly so I tend to build a bit heavier than 250grams.
I used basswood. Body is about 50grams so far, the motor add about 30grams more.
I have little experience with balsa wings but i have more experience with foam ( sorry ...) so wing and control surfaces will be made on 6mm foam i am expecting to be about 350grams.
I do not know how to proper use AutoCAD for the front formers so i did may curves with curves ruller by hand, they are not great , i may need to do some adjustment later.

Can you please send some picture of the standing gear and size of wire you used. I have problems building mine.
Also what is the weight of your wings? mine are about 110 grams made of 4.5mm board foam without paper. I am just curious if i made wings with balsa would they they be lighter.
