Leuk draadje! Mijn top drie:

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3
De Lancaster is misschien afgezaagd als model, maar gewoon onwijs mooi. De S-3 Viking en de MiG-3 komen veel minder vaak voor als model, en helemaal niet als fatsoenlijk schaalmodel. Van de MiG-3 heb je er eentje met rechte vleugels (begrijpelijk, want de schaalvleugels geven flink wat tip stall waarschijnlijk) en de Viking alleen in een variant gezien die als speelgoed uitziet, niet de juiste verhoudingen. Op turbine zou het mooi maar veel te groot en kostbaar zijn, dus de Viking als 12-blads EDF en de MiG met dikke elektro setup en sound module!

Greetings from the Himalayas,
Our club is doing group build this monsoon season of Junkers Ju-52 from RCM plans. It is sized for three .20 glow engines but we're going to use Sharma 2.3cc diesels (kerosene-castor oil-ether mix).
To match the 2.2-meter WS Ju-52 (and maybe even get aero-towed by it) I'm building 1.65-meter WS DFS-230 A-2 assault glider from scratch using Klaus Neitzer's plans.

Progress so far is just the fuselage which I had to modify for the tandem cockpit:

If the moderator or someone else can advise, I can post concurrent build log here also. Google Translator doesn't do it's job with the categories/sections. I read that maximum number of these aircraft were lost in the Netherlands, 280 of them.

zou me leuk lijken dit ooit op m'n 50e o.i.d. te maken en vliegen.. dan is dit alweer een ouderwetse kist
