(WOF) F1 tunnel hull building report

Looking great [emoji108]Glassing takes quite some time, but after the first flip, you will be thankfull you did it!

By the way, do you have a speed number in mind as a goal to reach, or do you focus on good handling / cornering?

Thank you Jan
!
Yes, I definitely want a speed > 80 kmh.
I am determined to do whatever it takes to surpass this speed target even a 40 motor with 6s.

The hull seems quite strong and I want to push it hard:D
.

That's the spirit [emoji41]. With your 3674 2200kV motor on 4S you should be able to reach 70+ or even 80km/h already. On 5S you should crack the 80km/h easily and probably 90+ km/h.

Of course depending on many factors, but looking at your hull and the dimensions you used, I think it will be a great performer.

Finally the outboard with its cover is on the hull...

Wow excellent design and would probably fit my outboard.
If I didn't like so much to build I would certainly consider it!
Thank you for letting me know!

Thanks Jan. :)
Indeed, the GPS must have strong signal to capture the ultra high speeds of the hull...just kidding ;)!
Regarding the colors I have decided silver, white, fluorescent orange and black and I also have something in mind for the painting scheme like this:

Currently I repaint the Penarib since the temperatures have risen recently.

I stripped off the inner construction of the cowl and I enhanced it with 100 gr/m2 fiberglass. The part without carbon fiber was further enhanced with 4 pieces of thick fiberglass tape. The cowl weighs 195 gr but it is quite strong.
Overall, I am very happy with the the result in spite of some inevitable imperfections that must be improved.
